Devin Aaron Witt is the editor and principal photographer of MarchingPhotography.com and enjoys a storied career in photography, music, production, and education.

Born and raised in the Metro Atlanta, GA area, Devin has been involved in the Marching Arts for over 15 years, and finally decided to start documenting it through photography in 2023. His work has quickly become well regarded nationally as some of the best in the Marching Arts community, and his attention to detail, passionate attitude, and positivity radiates out through each event he captures. He has served in media roles for various schools, ensembles, and organizations across the Southeast, and always strives to capture the powerful and visceral emotions that the Marching Arts can communicate. Devin is able to tap into his unique experience as a professional musician, educator, designer, and communicator to capture moments in performances that others may not see.

Although his specialty is in full-event Marching Arts coverage, you can also find him with camera in hand at concerts, music festivals, and masterclasses, as well as taking portraiture shots for friends and loved ones.

Devin is a proud alumnus of Kennesaw State University (Bachelor of Music in Music Performance, 2019) and also served on various student employee and full time staff roles at KSU for 9 years. His marching career has included time at Carolina Crown (2014), PULSE: The Show (2014), and he can also be seen in various marching band roles on TV shows and other productions.

In addition to his work on MarchingPhotography.com, Devin is also a professional educator, sound designer, bandleader, and union musician in the Southeast, with performing and writing credits with artists such as Rick Ross, Gucci Mane, Nas, T.I., and others.

Devin has professional affiliations with the American Federation of Musicians, the National Association for Music Education, the Georgia Music Educator’s Association, and the Jazz Education Network. He resides in Powder Springs, GA, with his wife Sarah and pets Molly (Labrador), Fluke (Pyrenees), and Pinky (Calico Cat).
